Starbase update released on PC (Steam). According to the official Starbase patch notes, the latest update added new features, capital ships fixes, and more.

Previously, a big update was released with various bug fixes and changes. Unfortunately, since the release, players are facing several issues. Starbase patch will fix a few of these issues.

Moderator UI’s Inbox empties and doesn’t update anymore after changing the page and then “Results per page” setting
Find Player tab shows everyone offline
Moderator UI > Inbox > Auto Set Processing resets after closing the game
Moderator UI’s screenshot won’t reload until opening another feedback, if the menu is closed and the same feedback is opened
Deleting a profile of a company leader causes the company itself to get deleted and players in that company to get stuck in it
First person animations play wrong animation when hovering
First person one-handed tool walk animations dont work for most of the tools
Pickaxe is lifted above the player’s head if he does certain actions quickly while hovering
Asserts when claiming a station area
Assert while flying a ship
Asserts when entering the universe
Unhandled when launching the game
Assert when picking up fuel rod from fuel rack in EBM

Cutting beams from a ship in places with gravity creates invisible collisions

No damage is done when shooting a rocket at player’s feet on moon
Dead endoskeletons “T-pose” when viewed from far enough
Insurance respawn after death spawns the player above Origin

Tripods can be grabbed in a way that makes it possible for players to achieve impossible speeds
Tripod railgun can use tripod autocannon magazines and vice versa
Freshly placed tripod gun cannot be removed without relogging
Insurance transferring while using tripod and then coming back to the ship causes player to warp to it and receive failed assertion
reload context doesn’t activate on tripod
Cannot Insurance Transfer from a Tripod as a ship client
Possible to enter an existing tripod while placing a new one
Insurance transfering while in a tripod causes failed assertions
Entering a tripod on a jointed object causes the view and gun area to get messed up
Player first person arms are visible in tripod on a fast moving ship
Tripods bolted to a ship can still be picked up normally, leaving behind just the bolt
Entering a tripod while crouched causes player model hover around 10 cm above the ground
If there is a lot of audio devices around, moving slightly may silence the nearest sound device
If there is a lot of audio devices around, there is sometimes a considerable delay on audio devices starting to play if arriving to an audio device already playing
ButtonStyle 2 does not seem to work properly.
Cargo lock frame visual offsets while lockframe is active on moving ship
Spawning a ship on top of another ship that has cargo frames active with another player present, collides with the ship during loading and duplicates the ship
Cargo locking asteroid pieces to the first cargo lock and then trying to lock an ore cube to the other cargo lock causes the ore cube to not lock and remain in yellow lock
Using cargo lock beams to an asteroid that is larger than your ship causes it to split the ship and asteroid into two separate ships when unlocked
Blowing up joint connection does not remove it from the ship, even though there is no physical connection
Torpedoes don’t listen YOLOL
Launched missile, loops missile thruster audio? continuously at the location of launch
Torpedo parts that are crafted and then manually assembled into a torpedo do not convert into a missile blob upon launch and do not work
Torpedoes launch backwards if their yolol chips in yolol slots are not snapped to the slot, but are offset instead
Torpedoes and Missiles can be launched through a thick layer of other objects
Snapping a yolol chip into the Torpedoe’s yolol slot and launching via launcher, causes it to bug on launch, launching backwards or in some other unintended way
When Launching Torpedoes at full speed, the torpedo launcher broke and collided with the torpedo causing an assert
Torpedoes tend to bounce from their target and explode at a delay, produces error in editor
Launching missiles causes them to randomly disappear
Missiles disappear when unlocking missile launcher
Shooting missiles causes the thruster audio to get stuck randomly
Missiles do not stay locked in in their tubes when flying in test flight in SSC
Torpedoes and Missiles can transfer immense amounts of velocity to the ship and fling the ship into deepspace
Sometimes missiles and torpedoes’ thruster is detached when attempting to launch
Torpedo/missiles takes damage inside safezone from melee if they are set as active
“Detonate” does not destroy the missile/torpedo inside safezone, but “TriggerRange” does
Yolol chips do not snap into torpedoes cleanly, requiring to press E on an invalid position before moving to correct position for a release
Missiles and Torpedoes are not considered as a part of the ship, even if they are snapped inside their launchers in ssc, requiring the player to bolt them in place
It is not possible to lock missiles in ssc, causing a lot of extra work for missile users
Turret projectiles are spawned in wrong direction if the turret is pointing at the back of the ship
Launcher fixed mount missing icon
Warheads can be used as infinite close-in explosives
Missile Warhead Hotbar Glitch
Rangefinder beam & reported range very inconsistent with moving/turning ships
ResourceContainerComponent with multiple resources spawn very often with the second resource empty when buying from ssc
Battery gauge doesn’t work in stations.
The battery gauge causes a viewmodel interaction prompt animation when the player mouses over it, even though it can’t be interacted with.
Inactive terminal screen causes interaction prompt animation when mousing over it.
Linking to reconstruction machine while at full 15 insurance points doesn’t add the machine to the list after death
Reconstruction machine’s effect stays in the universe, after the machine is picked up
Reconstruction machine spawn audio is not synced to other players
Reconstruction Machine respawn vfx are spawned noticeably late
If the player’s insurance transfer list is full (15 entries) the player can still link to a reconstruction machine but the option to respawn at the machine does not show up in death menu
If you spawn back at the Reconstruction Machine from 50km+ while the ship it is in is at a station, the ship warps away after respawning
Reconstruction Machine will not work for respawning if the player is not within hosting range of their station
Reconstruction machine’s Terminal and Cradle cannot be bolted to a ship in SSC, bolting one prevents the other from being bolted
Resurrection machine battery gauge doesn’t work if the ship is spawned with cabling done.
Respawning to a warping ship’s reconstruction machine doesn’t work
Thruster blocking is done with raycasts in a + shape, making exploiting the shape to cover most of the thruster with plates easy
Dev station transponders are no longer visible
Increase “Receive signals from Primary stations” from 10 to 30
If a player is currently trying to sit on a chair and another player grabs the chair before that, the player floats away from the chair doing pirouettes until returning
Yolol chips can be unlocked by players who have no rights for the ship it is on
Fuel rod is emptied if the ship’s owner is not hosting the ship and moves or picks up and re-inserts a fuel rod
Some asteroids disappear when the asteroid host relogs near it
Ore that the player mines is not real and the player does not get any credits from asteroid or demolition jobs despite not being at weekly earnings cap
Hauling more than 9 asteroids at the same time gives no money for the rest in the hauling area
Once cargo locked asteroid gets deleted from universe if player travels a short distance away from it
Asteroid hauling rewards shouldnt count towards weekly job income cap
Navigation chips can be put on auction but not seen on auction house
Timestamp on blueprint versions is always the version 1
“Cannot open AH in this location” spammed in chat
Auction house search gets “bugged” by not showing any results if player chooses a sub category and browses to page 2
Auction House prizes do not automatically update if AH is opened first at origin and then opened at Markka station, old prices are “cached”
Some items still cant be listed for “Sell” in AH
Personal “Auctions” tab listing only shows the first ~500 items
Crafting bench requirements are shown as red even if there is a working bench detected close enough
Warning Light Button 12×12 cm not in crafting tree.
Multipart devices such as buttons are not correctly shown in the quickbar when dragged from crafting tab.
Alloy Furnace shows wrong icon in crafting menu
Unable to craft missile fuel modules
Navigation chip does not require any crafting bench to be crafted
Crafting menu icon (“hammer”) shouldn’t be intractable when dead (Allows players to browse through menus, when their keybinds are not allowed)
The last spot in the crafting queue doesn’t stack beyond one craft
Torpedo fuel tank is always crafted empty and cannot be refilled
Changing station part materials when crafting does not work
Having two Advanced crafting benches within range prevents crafting of any station modules
Crafting menu queue bleeds input to quickbars under it when trying to drag the crafted items
Beam material selection is not available in Crafting -> Ship Parts -> Beams category and its subcategories
Selecting the storage to craft into doesn’t immediately change
Ship modules aren’t crafted after changing materials while crafting
Tooltips for materials don’t work in the material selection dropdown menu.
Different material crafting doesnt change material requirement for some items
Crafting modules does not update the “owned item” count until another is crafted after it
A “ghost” crafting queue remains active, if player leaves and then returns to station storage range
Hovering over items in crafting queue sometimes shows several overlapping tooltips
Opening crafting menu while connected to crates of a large ship outside of station storage area causes severe FPS drop
Refilling items does not work on station area if the items are in personal inventory
Getting disconnected from the servers by an update/maintenance causes ores used in crafting que to disappear
Can’t Refill ship weapon mags (at least plasma cannon magazine doesn’t work at all)
Generator Unit has a resource bar in the inventory icon, even though it does not have any resources of its own
Crafting menu’s Ship Parts -> Machinery -> Power category cannot be fully scrolled down if using big icons
Only full items have the resource bar in Crafting menu, while outside it, empty items have an empty resource bar in their icon
Full container variations are not crafted as full
Crafting refill for containers and canceling it, breaks crafting until game is reset, error message “Cannot add to queue, not enough room in inventory” blocks crafting
Crafting menu’s Station parts has two 216×432 plates
Two different types of ice needed for remote explosives craft
Crafting menu’s Plate crafting has two 72×72 plates
Endoskeleton replacement kits cannot be crafted as they just refund the materials after completing
