Smite Update 10.8 Patch Notes: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Smite Update 10.8 will soon roll out on PS4, PC, and Xbox One players. According to the official Smite 10.8 patch notes, the latest update adds new Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover skins along with a new event. Apart from this, Smite patch 10.8 also includes quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes, and various gods receive buffs and nerfs to balance gameplay.

Previously, a big update added new features and a long list of bug fixes. Unfortunately, players are experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game. Today’s Smite update 10.8 will fix a few of these issues.

Smite Patch 10.8 – August 3, 2022

NEW EVENT – AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER

• The Avatar Event introduces all former crossover Avatar Skins along with NEW Avatar crossover skins and bundles.
• Players can direct purchase the new skins or roll them from the chest.
• Any three Avatar crossover event purchases will unlock the Fire Nation Toph Reward Skin.

QUALITY OF LIFE

• General: Updated the Jungle Practice Queue Art and Added Martichoras’ Avatar.

BUG FIXES

• UI: Fixed an issue with the Charon Diamond Avatar being awarded too early to players without achieving Diamond status. Players who achieved Charon Diamond in the 10.7 patch will receive the avatar in this patch.
• Localization: Fixed tooltip descriptions appearing as Undefined on Charon’s 2nd, 3rd, and 4th abilities on Spanish clients.
• General Gameplay: Fixed an issue with the Order Titan’s model in Assault.
• Gods: Ix Chel is now correctly classified as a Tier 2 healer for Assault instead of Tier 3.
• Game Modes Joust: Fixed an issue where Phoenixes could be damaged before the Tier 1 towers are destroyed.

Game Modes

• Soul Surges have been removed from all game modes.
• Conquest: Stygian Beacon cooldown decreased from 6m to 5m. Unleashed Titan stats increased and Enhanced Fire Giant fix.
• Underworld Arena: The return of the cataclysmic, Underworld arena with Pyroclast Boulders and new Fire Giant challenger mechanics.
• Joust: Re-added all starter items and upgrades except for Sentinel’s Gift and upgrades Benevolence, War Flag, and Lono’s Mask. Banned Emperor’s Armor from this mode.

• Various buffs and adjustments to starter items, tank items, healing items, physical ability damage items, and mage items.

Buffed

• Ares: Shackles cooldown decreased and Bolster Defenses CC reduction increased.
• Artio: Decompose max stacks decreased and damage increased for Energy Surge and Maul Prey.
• Awilix: Moonlight Charge physical power scaling increased and Gravity Surge attack speed increased.
• Chaac: Torrent protections per stack increased and Rain Dance cooldown decreased.
• Gilgamesh: Sun-Forged Scimitar bonus damage increased and Hero’s Advance damage increased.
• Lancelot: Mount Up shield time reduced and Crashing Dive physical power scaling increased.
• Medusa: Acid Spray base damage and physical power scaling increased, Petrify damage increase for enemies not looking at Medusa.
• Neith: Spirit Arrow and Unravel cooldowns decreased.
• Nu Wa: Mysterious Fog speed increased and Clay Soldiers spawn increased.
• Yu Huang: Master of the Dao stack gain time reduced and Celestial Flight cooldown decreased.

Shifted

• Ravana: Chain of Blows health shield per stack decreased and Prana Onslaught damage increased.
• Zhong Kui: Demon Bag protections gained per stack decreased.

Nerfed

• Charon: Damnation max health contribution decreased.
• Izanami: Death Draws Nigh penetration per stack decreased.
• Mercury: Special Delivery physical power scaling per tick decreased and Typhoon physical power scaling of max damage decreased.
• Sun Wukong: Undefeated Body physical power gained per level decreased.
• Susano: Wind Siphon physical power scaling decreased and Typhoon physical power scaling of max damage decreased.
• Zhong Kui: Demon Bag protections gained per stack decreased.

Non-Conquest God Changes

• Aphrodite, Ganesha, Janus, Kuzenbo, Nu Wa, Odin, Sobek: Various nerfs.
