Portal 2 Update Patch Notes (Official)

Portal 2 update (January 31, 2022) is now available to download on PC(Steam). According to the official Portal 2 update patch notes, the latest patch added quality of life improvements. Apart from this, the latest patch also includes general stability improvements.

Previously, a big update was released with various tweaks, changes, and fixes. Unfortunately, since the last patch, many players are still experiencing several issues when trying to play.

• UI improvements for Steam Deck support
• Improved performance of controller polling
• Other general in-game performance improvements
• Fixed a misaligned stack pointer crash in Miles audio
• Fixed input action set selection when switching between game and Puzzle Maker
• Fixed some Squirrel engine exploits, reported via HackerOne
• Guard against maps with corrupt mark surfaces, caused by some external tools
• Update Steam SDK
• Updated to DXVK Native 1.9.2a
