Madden 23 patch 1.09 (1.009) is now available to download on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X. According to the official Madden 23 1.09 patch notes, the latest title update resolves various issues with the game. Apart from this, Madden NFL 23 update 1.08 (version 1.009.000) also includes gameplay optimizations.
Previously, a major update 1.07 added new changes and quality-of-life improvements. Unfortunately, since the last patch, players are still experiencing several issues with the game. Madden 23 version 1.09 (1.009) will fix a few of these issues.

- Addressed a bug where the Press Start video was missing.
- Fixed issues with specific camera angles on kick returns and punt returns in Munich stadium
- Addressed various bugs with unnatural lip movement and eye movement in specific sideline shots
- Added exterior stadium shot for the Steelers’ Acrisure Stadium
- Addressed various stability updates
