A new Splatoon 3 update 3.0.1 details are now available for Nintendo Switch players. According to the Splatoon 3 3.0.1 patch notes, the latest update addressed notification issues. Apart from this, Splatoon 3 patch 3.0.1 also includes other minor fixes.
Previously, a minor Splatoon 3 update 1.20 added support for the Inkopolis DLC and a new Season 2023. Unfortunately, players are still experiencing several issues while playing the game. Splatoon 3 patch 3.0.1 will fix a few of these issues.

Fixes to Notifications
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused notifications to be sent to a user’s friends, even if that friend’s system Friend Settings were set to only display their online status to “Best Friends” or “No One.”
- If a user and their friends are connected to the same Pool, notifications will continue to display regardless of their Friend Settings.
Note: Compatible with Ver. 3.0.0 battle replays. Not compatible with Ver. 2.1.1 or earlier battle replays.
