Rockstar Games has released a new GTA 5 update 1.46 on PS4, PS5 (1.004.002), PC, and Xbox One. According to the official GTA 5 1.46 patch notes, the latest GTA Online update resolves exploits and other issues. Apart from this, GTA 5 version 1.46 also includes performance improvements.
Previously, GTA V update 1.44 added 18 new vehicles, 4 new Bennys vehicles, new events and much more. Recently, GTA5 update 1.45 brings the Los Santos Drug Wars event and ray tracing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Unfortunately, since the last major patch, players are experiencing a number of issues with the online gameplay. Today’s GTA5 update 1.46 will fix a few of these issues.

Security
- Implemented a new data protocol in GTA Online to improve the security of network sessions and player-to-player messaging
- Fixed an issue that could result in a player’s GTA Online experience being modified by a third party, including:
- altering GTA$ balance, RP level, Bad Sport status, and other player stats
- manipulation of players being kicked or crashed
Game Stability and Performance
- Fixed multiple crashes that occurred in GTAV and GTA Online.
- Fixed the LS Smoking Jacket reward bug.
- Addresses the Up-n-Atomizer festive skin crash.
- Fixed the new Kick & Crash exploits.
- Addressed game crashing issues on PS5.
- Added stability fixes.
- Added performance improvements.
- Addressed audio related bugs.
