Fortnite Update 21.40 Patch Notes

Epic Game has released a new Fortnite update 21.40 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and PC. According to the official Fortnite 21.40 patch notes, the latest update added Dragon Ball Z crossover to the game. In addition, today’s Fortnite version 21.40 also includes quality of life changes.

Previously, a major update added new features, new LTM modes, new changes, and much more. Unfortunately, since the later major update, players are facing several issues with the game.

Fortnite Update 21.40 Patch Notes – August 16, 2022

New

Dragon Ball Z crossover

• New character skins: Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Beerus.
• New permutations and customizations.
• New Gliders (the Flying Nimbus and Shenron)
• New Weapon – Kamehameha Mythic weapon

Bug Fixes

Fixed the following issues.

Battle Royale

• Friend Accepted notifications may repeatedly show on launch for some players
• Unable to switch device used for Voice Chat
• Added stability and performance improvements.

Creative

• Players on PS5 are unable to assign items to the Creative hotbar using L2+Button.
• The Prop Manipulator may stop functioning after Round 1 or in-between rounds.
• Prop Mover Device is missing several options.

Save The World

• Crows and other wildlife have a lower spawn/drop rates than intended.
• An issue that is causing players’ animations to appear as gliding and rotating when running.

Mobile

• Decreased Performance and FPS
