Black Desert (BDO) Update 2.87 Patch Notes

Black Desert console update 2.87 is available to download on PS4. According to the official Black Desert 2.87 patch notes, the latest update adds new content “Land of Morning Light Main Quest – Tale of Imoogi”. Apart from this, Black Desert Online version 2.87 also includes skill changes, improvements, and fixes for classes, items, and monsters are detailed.

A big update was recently released, which added Atoraxxion – Sycrakea dungeon, new Season+ servers, expanded Caphras levels, and more. Unfortunately, players are still facing various bugs and issues in the game. Today’s Black Desert patch 2.87 will fix a few of these issues.

Class Skill Changes:

• Various skill adjustments for different classes.

Changes & Fixes:

1. Land of the Morning Light Main Quest – Tale of Imoogi:
   • Adjusted HP increase per hit from +70 to +90.
   • Ultimate: Blasting Gust now consumes no Stamina (consumed Stamina changed from 180 to 0).
   • Prime: Ultimate: Blasting Gust now consumes MP instead of Stamina.
   • Various adjustments to skills with Serene Mind, including changed stamina consumption for specific skills during cooldown from 75 to 50.
   • Prime: Retaliation skill improved to combo smoothly into other skills.
   • Various adjustments to skills including changing stun effect to knockback, adjusting cooldowns, damage, and effects.
2. Valkyrie:
   • Prime: Shield Chase changed to Shield Chase IV with varying effects for different levels.
   • Adjusted skills including Prime: Sword of Judgment, Prime: Shield Throw (I to III), and more.
   • Changes to animations, damage, effects, and cooldowns for various skills.
3. Kunoichi:
   • Changes to skill names, animations, damage, and comboability for skills like Flow: Wrath (now Flow: Pinwheel Fury), Awakening Sura ChaoSpree, Black Spirit: Sura ChaoSpree, and more.
4. Valkyrie (Woosa):
   • Awakening skill Lunar Serenade fixed to apply the effect of All DP +20 for 30 sec when using the skill.
5. Monster Zones:
   • Changes to respawn times, monsters, and loot in various monster zones, including Crescent Shrine, Navarn Steppe (Wolf Pack), Cadry Ruins, Titium Valley, Desert Naga Temple, and Olun’s Valley.
   • Guild Boss Subjugation loot changes, including changes to Advice of Valks rewards.
6. Gameplay and UI:
   • Improvements to Barter information window updates and feed UI appearance.
   • Fixes for issues with the Tiger Wish Lantern appearance, Wizard appearance issue with the Tiger Wish Lantern, and appearance issues with Drakania’s Marnist outfit after changing body type.
   • Fixed an issue with the quest “Miniature Elephant” Permit from the Merchant League.
