Barotrauma update 1.0.8 is rolling out on PC(Steam). According to the official Barotrauma patch notes, the latest update addressed a bug where loading screens sometimes get stuck when playing in Chinese, Japanese or Korean. Apart from this, Barotrauma patch 1.0.8 also includes performance improvements.
Previously, the Urban Expanses update added wallet and money functionalities to the game. Unfortunetly, players are still experiencing problems with the game. Today’s Barotrauma update 1.0.8 will fix a few of these issues.

Barotrauma Patch 1.0.8.0 Notes – March 16, 2023
- Fixed loading screens sometimes getting stuck when playing in Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
- Fixed certain mods that override outpost generation parameters causing crashes due to missing outpost NPC prefabs.
- Fixed outpost NPCs never attacking you (just aiming their guns at you) if you attack them, but your reputation is not low enough to turn the outpost hostile.
- Fixed broken dialog line in the waytoascension1 event.
- Fixed healing your crewmates causing your karma to decrease.
