Eternal Return Update 1.0 Patch Notes

1. Preseason for Season 1 Begins:
   • A 2-week preseason before Season 1 starts.
   • Season 9 Ranked Rewards will be distributed based on the final LP of Early Access Season 9.
   • Season 1 is scheduled to begin on August 3rd, 2023.
2. Season 1 Pack Pre-Purchase:
   • The 1.0 Pack containing Season 1 items will be available for purchase.
   • Two purchase periods with discounted prices.
3. New Character – Debi & Marlene:
   • Debi & Marlene, two-handed sword users, are introduced.
   • Available for 9,900 A-Coin for two weeks after launch.
   • Not selectable in Ranked Matches until July 25th.
4. New Skins & Emotes:
   • New skins include Treasure Finder Lenox and Admiral Leon.
   • Ly Ahn emotes will be available for purchase.
5. Changes to Game Modes:
   • Solo and Duo modes temporarily closed, only Squad mode available.
   • Three modes: Normal (Squad), Ranked (Squad), and Cobalt Protocol.
6. Map Reconstruction:
   • Lumia Island map redesigned, 15% bigger with new paths and opened buildings.
7. Operator Nadja:
   • Nadja assists new players with real-time advice in-game.
8. Victory Poses:
   • Characters celebrate with victory poses after winning.
9. Revamped Ranked System:
   • Entry cost changes based on player’s rank.
   • Points earned from placement and kills.
   • Detailed breakdown of score calculation available.
10. Forging and Data Boxes:
    • Introduction of Research Center and Skin Data Boxes.
    • Players can craft and gain items through Forging.
11. Optimization and Changes:
    • Various optimizations and enhancements made to the game.
    • Character prices adjusted based on release date and difficulty.
12. Crafting Guide and VPad:
    • Crafting Guide revamped.
    • VPad introduced for displaying player’s status.
13. Bug Fixes and Improvements:
    • Bug fixes and improvements made to address issues.
