The Witcher 3 update 4.01 details are now available for PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S players. According to the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition update 4.01 patch notes, the latest update resolves various issues related to ray tracing, stuttering, lag, and crashes. Apart from this, the Witcher 3 version 4.01 also includes fixes for a cross-progression issue.
Recently, a major Witcher 3 update 4.0 added 4K, 60FPS, cross-play and other new features on PC and next gen consoles. Unfortunetly, since the last patch, players are experiencing various performance and stability issues. The Witcher 3 patch 4.01 will address a few of these issues.
